Ferme Caribou is a family dairy in Terrebonne, Quebec, run by Viviane and Jasmin Mathieu. When the farm transitioned to a free-stall barn system, monitoring cow mobility became a fundamentally different challenge. Earlier interventions mean less damage, faster recovery, and less stress on the animal. The farm is targeting 2.5 kilograms of milk per cow, up from its current 2 kilograms, and Viviane sees CattleEye as the kind of long-term investment in data infrastructure that will help get them there.
